IZTECH Nutrition Services

The Nutrition Services Unit under the Department of Health Culture and Sports of Izmir Institute of Technology provides catering services in accordance with hygiene standards in order to ensure adequate, balanced and healthy nutrition of students and staff. In addition, it carries out inspections of canteens and cafeterias operating on campus and ensures the coordination of all processes related to nutrition services.

Food Production and Presentation

Food production is carried out in the kitchen in the Central Cafeteria building located in the Institute campus. Lunch service,

• In a total of four dining halls on the 1st and 2nd floors of the cafeteria building,
• The cafeteria in the Foreign Languages Department buildingserves on a fixed menu basis.

Service Hours

• Training period: 11.30 – 14.00
• Outside the training period: 11.30 – 13.30

Updates regarding the catering service are sent to the Institute e-mail addresses of the users.

Cafeteria Control System

Users can perform the following operations online via the  Dining Control System

• Top up balance and view current balance
• Tracking balance movements
• Create or cancel reservations for specific menus
• Using the catering service without a user card through QR code generation
• Follow the daily and monthly food list
